Fees for 12 week term

PLEASE NOTE THAT FEES HAVE GONE UP BY A SMALL AMOUNT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A YEAR

Providing there is a vacancy new pupils are welcome to join mid - term and fees will be worked out accordingly .

Fees are charged per term & are due at the beginning of term . Fees cannot be returned after a pupil has started a new term . New pupils can try 2 lessons before paying the terms’ fees .

Pupils do not have to be re - enrolled each term but if a pupil is leaving could parents please let

me know especially as there is a waiting list for some classes .

 UNIFORM

The J.C.L.School of Dance has a uniform that is in line with examination board requirements . A separate uniform list is available with details of how to obtain all items .

We also have uniform information on our website .

Please see me before buying dance wear for lessons at our school . New pupils are not required to wear the uniform until they have decided to join the school .

HAIR

Please could all pupils from Primary upwards wear their hair in a bun for ballet and high pony tail or bun for modern & tap.( If hair is short please wear hair band to match uniform ) . I am most willing to show parents how to do this and it only takes a couple of minutes.

Younger pupils must have there hair tied back neatly .

An important part of dance training is grooming and therefore pupils are asked to attend class correctly and neatly dressed .

SHOW PLEASE NOTE THESE DATES IN YOUR DIARY

Dress Rehearsal - April 25th 2010

Performance - May 2nd 2010 (As with the last show this is the May Bank Holiday weekend so that pupils will have the day off school the following day.)

We will be starting to practice towards the show this term all pupils in Pre- Primary upwards are included in the show .

All pupils performing in the show do have to attend the dress rehearsal .

EXAMS

I will be booking a session of I.D.T.A. examinations for next term . Exam results this term for the I.S.T.D. ballet examinations have been excellent with 100% successful . Many gaining Distinction & Merit. We are still awaiting the results of the I.S.T.D. Modern & Jazz examinations .
